Try the following tips and get the best out of your morning:

Hello sunshine!

If there is a possibility, throw the curtains open and let the sun shine in. Because of sunlight, our body produces vitamin D and therefore the serotonin content is increased. Bye morning mood! And: the next night you also sleep better.

(Cold) shower

Start your morning with a lovely shower, just at the temperature as you normally do. Only lower the temperature a little during the last half-minute. It is not a nice feeling, of course, but it is only for a short time and it shakes you well.

Breakfast

Avoid refined sugars. They give you temporary energy, but then you get an incredible chopper. Go for low-fat yoghurt with, for example, a banana, this gradually releases energy so that you can benefit for longer! And as drinking we choose water! Of course we do not want us to become dehydrated, because then our brains get less oxygen. So go for a nice, ice cold glass of water.

Stimulate brain

Do you have some time left before you have to go to work or school? Then grab the puzzle book and make a crossword puzzle or Sudoku. No worries; it does not matter what level the puzzle is, it's about stimulating your brain. The stimulation of your brain makes you a lot more alert.

The day (alert) come through

If you work in the office all day, you probably know it: the moments when you can not stop yawning or feel that you can fall on the keyboard with your head at any moment. Get up and go for a walk. If necessary, you can make coffee for everyone so that you walk up and down to the coffee machine a few times. Movement makes us more alert.
