Get your content shared throughout the Internet!

It’s no secret that the Internet is the place to get and share information. It’s been said that more than 5 million gigabytes of content is shared daily over the Internet, through social media and email.  Doesn’t it make sense to grab as much of that traffic as possible?

In this article I’ll share some tips to help get your content shared over and over again.

1. Tell a Story. “Buy my stuff” is  never going to get shared very much. It just isn’t very exciting. Compare that with something like  “The Customer Service Nightmare of the year” or “I found web traffic on Blueberry Hill.” Do you get the point. Make it interesting.

 2. Use Great Headlines to capture attention.  This should be quite obvious, but it's one of the most common mistakes that internet marketers tend to make.  It should be short enough to be readable,  but long enough to be interesting and  instantly grab the attention of your reader. Grab their curiosity and make them want to find out more about your article or web page. The  more curiosity it provokes, the better!

3. Use pictures and images….  Graphics that are interesting and relevant to the subject will grab the reader’s attention, and build both interest and understanding of your subject. Any questions?

4. Use Humor.  It’s no secret that people love to laugh. Humor gets shared  a lot doesn’t it. Look for opportunities to add humor to your content, both in the words and the visuals. Not only will more people share your content, but, their interest and understanding of your content will increase as well.

5. Simplify the sharing process. Where possible, you can add icons for each of the main social networks. You want to make the sharing process as simple as you can, so ask people to share and put links to the various social media sites.
