You can delegate your Hive Power (HP) to others for any length of time, i.e., lend HP to other accounts. You also can retract your delegated HP anytime. However, it will take 5 days to return to your wallet.
Though you delegate your HP to other accounts, your total HP is still same as before. However, your total Resource Credit decrease. In contrast, the recipient's RC will increase, but his/her HP won't. It means that you will have less number of transactions after delegation.
Here I find a dilemma. You have to trust others in the trustless world. When you delegate something to someone, I have to trust that person. Don't you? Delegation sounds bizarre in the trustless Hive network. Funny!
Anyway, to lend your HP to others, you just click your wallet icon, then click the dropdown menu beside HP, select Delegate and click, fill the information. Done.
