It Probably Explains It

You know, there was that Neil Dunn guy from Florida, and I think the reason he was holding out is because the NSF cuts were going to affect something called the Mag Lab in Tallahassee at the, at Florida, I guess, Florida State or something. I don't really know anything about that, but it was like a $40 million cut, and I guess they must have dealt with that because he's no longer a no on it, but he was saying he was going to vote against it. And I looked up all the news in Tallahassee, and there was this massive uproar about the Mag Lab.

I was like, well, it probably explains it. So, who knows, right? We'll hopefully not see too much more pork thrown into this thing or anywhere, but that is often how it goes. They added $1.5 trillion in spending to it.

The Senate did. From the House version. The House version wasn't too bad.

The House version balanced out at like $100 billion. That's, that's me being, you know, liberal with the amount, I think, really costs. Like, it was, it wasn't too bad.

That's why Burleson, when he came into our space, he's like, you know, I came here because President Trump had a massive victory. Obviously, there was a mandate given by the American people, and I could, in good faith, I could vote to pass the bill as the House had written it. However, I cannot, in good faith, you know, be loyal to my constituents and what's good for the American people and vote for what's coming back from the Senate.

And that is how much they, they just savaged it. Like, it was, bro, they just completely destroyed it over there. If they would have just left it alone, there would be, like, hardly any pushback at all.
