Yes you can do multiple delegation requests to the same account. I've done 3 separate requests so far. I recommend that you create an account before requesting a delegation, that way, you can monitor the delegation via Blocktrades UI... You can also renew your delegation lease from that UI whenever you like and recieve a 20% discount for doing so... Blocktrades posted about renewals a few days ago on their Steem: @Blocktrades.
