I got into game development because of my teenage son.
He's a genius programmer.. Started teaching himself when he was 9, now at 15 he programs in around 17 languages.
Everything I know about making games, he taught me.
I've since fallen in love with making games as well as working with my son. In two years we've already put up two games on Steam.

When I was a younger lad I had dreams of game design and development but got sidetracked by girls and pot... Never ended up completing a game sadly. Would be an interesting hobby to take up when I get the time. It's incredible some of the stuff being made these days.

You wanna make awesome games you need to live an awesome life
