We understand that the shepherds were going about their daily tasks, likely enjoying a peaceful night, doing what they did day after day, when suddenly God unexpectedly intervened, showing us that God doesn't only appear in temples or during the most spiritual moments we imagine; God also presents Himself in the midst of the ordinary, in our daily lives.
And God always tells us, "Do not be afraid"—I use quotation marks because fear often paralyzes us or prevents us from acting by faith—and God first instills calm within us.
God instills calm and peace within us and tells us that He brings good news for us. This is the message from heaven, a message of grace, redemption, and forgiveness. This good news brings joy to everyone, regardless of social status, history, past, or anything else. God always has good news to give us.
If you are uncertain about a situation you are experiencing, remember that God tells you, "Do not be afraid." If you feel that everything is happening normally and everything is becoming routine, remember that God can surprise you at any moment. And if you are thinking that you are not great enough for God to speak to you or use you, remember that the greatest announcement ever given to humanity was first given to simple shepherds in the countryside.
"Do not be afraid; I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all the people."

Entendemos que los pastores estaban en sus labores cotidianas, por la noche seguramente muy tranquilo, haciendo lo que siempre hacían día tras día, de un momento a otro Dios irrumpe de manera sorpresiva diciendo para nosotros que Dios no solamente aparece en los templos o en los momentos más espirituales que nosotros pensamos, Dios se presenta también en medio de lo normal, en nuestra vida cotidiana.
Y Dios siempre nos dice "no tengas miedo cierro comillas porque el miedo muchas veces nos paraliza o nos permite actuar por fe, y Dios primero nos infunde calma.
Dios nos infunde calma y paz y nos dice que trae buenas noticias para nosotros, ese es el mensaje del cielo que es un mensaje de gracia, de redención y perdón, esa buena noticia trae alegría para todos. Sin importar la condición social, la historia, el pasado o cualquier otra cosa. Dios siempre tiene buenas noticias para darnos.
Si tienes incertidumbre por alguna situación que estás viviendo, recuerda que Dios te dice "no tengas miedo". Si sentís que todo sucede de manera normal Y todo se torna rutinario, recuerda que Dios te puede sorprender en cualquier momento, y si estás pensando que no eres lo suficientemente grande para que Dios te hable o te utilice, recuerda que el anuncio más grande que se ha dado a la humanidad fue dado primeramente simples pastores del campo.
No tengan miedo; les traigo buenas noticias que les darán gran alegría para todo el pueblo.
