God speaks to us of hope because this text arises from a moment when everything seemed to have lost its meaning. Jeremiah was prophesying in the worst of times, dark moments when the people were captive and the entire city was destroyed. God's promises seemed very distant, and at that very moment, God speaks:
At that moment, God says, "The days are coming." God didn't say "probably" or "if such and such happens." God speaks with complete certainty and assurance; it's not a mere wish. Then God says, "I will confirm the good word I have spoken." This completely changes the perspective because God always fulfills what He promises. God doesn't speak lightly; God doesn't improvise, nor does He promise based on mere emotion. If God has spoken, it's because He is working, and He will make it a reality.
When God says, "I will confirm my word," He is saying that He will complete what He began, open what is closed, restore what is broken, and fulfill what He has declared in our lives. That's true for us, because the word of God doesn't depend on circumstances or the moment we're living in; what God has spoken depends solely on Him.
Perhaps right now we're going through processes in our lives, endless waiting, silences, or struggles that seem never-ending, but God doesn't forget what He has promised. God hasn't forgotten; He remains attentive and will fulfill it. Just as the people saw that they would be restored when everything seemed impossible, in our lives, too, everything God has promised will be fulfilled. We're simply in a process now, and we must keep faith and follow the steps, for God will fulfill His promise.
“The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will fulfill the good promise I have made.”

Dios nos habla de esperanza porque este texto surge de un momento donde todo parecía haber perdido el sentido ya que Jeremías estaba profetizando en los peores tiempos, momentos oscuros donde el pueblo estaba cautivo y toda la ciudad destruida, las promesas de Dios parecían muy lejanas y en ese mismo momento Dios habla:
En ese momento Dios dice: "vienen días" Dios no dijo que probablemente o si sucede tal o cual cosa, Dios habla con total seguridad y certeza no es un simple deseo, seguidamente Dios dice: "confirmaré la buena palabra que he hablado". Esto cambia totalmente la perspectiva ya que Dios siempre cumple lo que promete, Dios no dice palabras por decir, Dios no improvisa y tampoco promete influenciado por simple emoción, si Dios ha hablado es porque está trabajando y lo hará realidad.
Cuándo Dios dice confirmaré mi palabra está diciendo que va a culminar lo que empezó, abrirá lo que está cerrado, va a restaurar aquello que está roto y va a cumplir lo que ha declarado en nuestras vidas. Eso es para nosotros ya que la palabra de Dios no depende de las circunstancias ni el momento en que estamos viviendo, lo que Dios habló depende sólo de él.
Quizás en este momento estamos viviendo procesos en nuestras vidas, esperas interminables, silencios o luchas que parecen no terminar, pero Dios no se olvida lo que ha prometido, Dios no ha olvidado sigue pendiente y lo va a ejecutar. Así como el pueblo vio que sería restaurado cuando todo parece imposible, en nuestra vida también se va a cumplir todo lo que Dios ha prometido sólo ahora estamos en un proceso y debemos a guardar con fe y seguir los pasos ya que Dios cumplirá.
He aquí vienen días, dice Jehová, en que yo confirmaré la buena palabra que he hablado.
