It's summer time, and summer brings calmer tides and some great calm conditions. The North West wind swell has the day off. The North West swell dropped to a 2.3 feet, at every 8 seconds, making calm clear water! The wind was light from the South South East. I was able to catch and land a couple fish. 10.5" Grass Rockfish that I released, and later a Kelp or Rock Greenling that had blue pigmented meat. Kelp and Rock Greenlings must be 12" legal limit to keep and this one measured in at 15" or so. After getting home I make a seasoned Greenling fillet on top of rice pilaf.
