Captivating Camotes Island

The CAMOTES ISLAND is an island located in the central part of the Philippines known as the Visayas. The island is situated in the northern part of Cebu. It is one of the top 10 tourists attractions in the Philippines.

We departed from Cebu City to Camotes island at exactly 9:00 AM via Fastcraft. As we were in the middle of the sea all of us are worried because of the weather. It was raining and the waves really slap the boat.

When we arrived, we visited first the Mangodlong Rock Beach Resort - It is finely established in San Francisco, one of the best places to find white beach with pure turquoise waters on this island.

Santiago beach - It is a public beach. This beach, one of the famous beaches in Camotes, has the widest beach on the island. It’s not just a beach, it’s a white sand beach with a long shoreline that stretches as far as you can walk.

Buho Rock - is a coral rock shaped like a small ship docked at a port in one of the cliffs of the Western Poblacion. It is a great place to be as a viewing deck to explore the turquoise waters of Camotes’ ocean with your naked eyes.

Paraiso Cave - Its exterior is more lavish than the other caves in Camotes. It has a cold underwater pool (more than 5 ft) where you can take a dip.

Amazing island cave - is one of the eight natural caves and new in the island. This prominent cave is interestingly located on the island of Camotes on its northeastern side.

Crocodile islet - located within Lake Danao in San Francisco, Camotes. It is one of the most visited tourist attraction in Camotes island.

Bukilat Cave - It is one of the eight natural caves in Camotes Island and the most popular among them.
