Moving?!

in #blog7 years ago

So moving is something I have done a lot and it oddly enough is still a stressful process and a difficult one. With it being a time restraint and having to do things like getting boxes, canceling everything and having to find a new place it can get crazy.

I will say from experience ask every question even if it seems stupid. For example ask about if electric is for your complex or the whole building to pay because some do it where the building splits the bill and with that you could have to pay triple the amount due to your neighbor having the ac on. Along with that dont sign anything until you look at the place and check if everything is good beforehand. Sometimes management will trick some people into signing and then giving them a apartment etc that doesnt have all the features. For those needing boxes ask management a week in advance for a grocery store as they almost always will help out. Other than that it should be simple I just wanted to make a brief but semi nice blog since I may have to move at the end of the year and its a can be very stressful and confusing process.

I've also moved pretty frequently. Over a stretch of four years, I lived in 14 apartments or so. Quite an impressive stretch. Even now, I could sell most of my furniture and move pretty easily, although I'm happy to keep my "longest rental ever" streak going for a few more months...

Jesus I dont think I could do that lol. I have high props towards you for doing so and even for me moving about 5 times recently I am at a point where I want to settle soon cause I cant handle the constant moving and having to restart.
