Is that true? Look, I take great issue with gambling losses being a deduction. Okay. And I think everyone should.

It would create an incentive of literally gambling with the tax rolls. Because imagine if you go to a casino and you say, fuck it, I'm just going to create massive amounts of upside for me and screw. There's no downside to it.

How is that any different than buying a business and reporting the loss? The difference? At least you quote, quote, tried, right? Like Trump bought the plaza knowing he would get a loss and have a credit for 10 years' worth of a loss.

But it was still a strategic business and he did try to make it work. Um, so it's, it's, it's, it's a little more different than that.
