After updating my journal at the Caroline County Library, I started a mission to find a place to pitch my tent. The first choice was to pitch it in Martinak State park which was a bit out off the way and came at a high cost. I reached out to campgrounds in the area which were loaded full of various groups and we're unavailable. A local I met in the library asked friends, but to no avail. Vicky, my logistics help, called Tuckahoe State Park and inquired about the fees. It wasn't long before I found myself enjoying a free shelter specifically for the ADT.

I was quick to set up my cowboy digs and get off my feet. The mosquitoes and heat was at an all time unpalatable level. The buzzing in my ears from the mosquitoes efforting themselves a lunch of my blood was quite maddening. Unable to sleep I set up my Fly Ureek UL1 without the outer shell. The mosquito's were held at bay, but the mercury rose considerably. I would only find myself asleep for an hour and a half. Tomorrows another day, I'll have to wait and see what it has in store for me.
