How do we stay creative - How do we stay alive

These Days I actually have nothing to say, nothing that I am thinking about or that I am longing for. I am just sitting around lazy, reading stuff, trying to imagine what I could possibly talk about. Somehow the last weeks have had a very exhausting effect on me. I simply don't know why I should talk about anything any longer since the main routine always remains the same. We wake up, go to work, get frustrated, eat for lunch to get something that satisfies us into our system and for the rest of the day we are working "towards" end of the day only to reach the weekend only to relax again and to make ourselves ready for the next monday.

Is there anything we can do to break that cycle? Most people can't. They live from paycheck to paycheck. 50% of the American people actually live from paycheck to paycheck and they have definitely no chance of thinking about stuff like that. You basically have to do it or you die. Work or Die. This is also the main reason why so many people have anxiety problems, fears and do need medication for their depression. Burn-Outs, mental illness. We break from inside.

There once was a quote from MetalGearSolid 2 I liked:
"The world isn't going to end with a blow but with a wimper."

With a slow disease that creeps up into our brain, our hearts and our soul and eats us alive from the inside. We will eventually survive or the robots will take over what needs to be done and for everything else an intelligent elite will be present to harvest what's left.

Sounds a lot like what is already happening only without robots.

What is your take on this.
How do you fight against routines and how do you overcome those things on a daily basis.
Yours,
