Hey guys, I had a short trip to Singapore the past weekend to watch a musical (Evita). The musical wasn't as nice as Les Mis for me but the singers were really good. Not a fan of their songs but still a good performance.
As it was a 4-day trip, I visited the Botanic Gardens as well.
Here are some of the photos taken, starting with food at Halia Cafe which is situated inside the Gardens itself.
The price is of course not cheap since it's in SGD, and the total for 5 was about $180 SGD. It looks great though!
Their wagyu beef burger for $30.
Hope you guys enjoyed the food photos. I took some photos of the plants / flowers as well. They have an orchid garden inside so you'll find lots of different species of orchids.
I'm not a huge fan of flowers nor do I know what they're called, so I let the photos do the talking hehe.
Here's where we part.
Photos taken with a Nikon D3400
It all looks so good. I hope one day I'll get a chance to travel around and have a taste of cuisines from different cultures.
Hey! There is something which is meandering in first photo. What is its name?
We have also a food like that in Turkey. You can see it by searching 'mumbar' in Google =) It looks alike this one a lot
That's just a sausage bro
It looks all good and the colour in that drink! 😳
Yet, for $180 that is quite steep, though we guess in five it's average for Singapore.
We are going there at the end of the month for a long weekend and we have the Botanic Gardens on our list. Is there any other free places that you recommend to visit? We will get the CityPass for $125 USD (each) to visit 5 different attractions over the course of 3 days. But after that we want to save as much as we can. If you know of any cheap eats that would be good too! 😊
I think it's more expensive inside the Gardens. If you go to the regular hawker centers (which is everywhere), you'll find food below $10 easily. Btw, i'm not from Singapore so i don't know that much hahaha.
I normally go to Orchard road / Marina Bay Sands / Gardens by the bay (i think this one is quite cool) or Sentosa island..
Cool, we'll keep that in mind. To head to the hawker centres.
Hahaha we know you're not from Singapore, but since you were there recently for 4 days we thought you might know a few cool free spots that you found. Those suggestions are great! Thanks! 😊
You are really enjoying, sir. Eating a lot of tasty foods and getting exposure to a lot of natural environment. Thanks for bringing it to us on Steemit.com
nice, upvoted
I thought it was $180 per person. Luckily it just $36 after divided by 5. Should try new food whenever visit Singapore next time. Thanks for sharing.
If per person even Steem won't save me hahaha
I have heard of Halia long time!! Evita as in the "don't cry for me Argentina" Evita? Love the orchids, so colourful!
Yeah that is the only song i knew..
The price is like in Australia LOL
Belanja pls.

Nice photos man. In all these years, i've only been to the gardens once although it's a 10 min walk from home. I should go more often lol.
Are you still based in SG? But it's super hot! I rather walk in the mall hahaha
