Not only the content and the design of the website that count, a domain name is how your visitors will be coming on your website, if it is not well-chosen you risk losing a lot.
To choose your perfect domain name you need to follow the 6 following rules :
- It needs to be understandable
- Easy-to-remember
- short domain name (2-3 words maximum)
- Avoid hyphens and numbers
- Only .com domains
- It needs to be flexible, don't limit yourself

Are domain names really that important anymore? People will search for it on Google instead of remembering.
And is a .com really that important any more? Most the great ones are taken and real companies are using other, less common TLDs.

The only one I disagree with the is the ".com" only bullet point. What about some of the new alternative suffixes like .io ?
