She was obviously told the fines would be on her back not yours. Then you took advantage of her and hauled in all that crap and made mountains of crap for her to clean up when you left. Its still all there. When you rent an apartment or land, the owner always has to ensure it is registered properly.
The people I rented from were registered and well known in town.
They were friends with the board.
They were friends with the police.
There were well known and very popular in town.
So no, they did not get in trouble.
Nobody ever got fined for anything regardless of your claims.
