Steeemians!

I got absolutely roasted today!!

Blog entries...Not sure if things like this normally gain traction on the platform but if not I'll crusade on fearlessly.

I'm also not exactly a pro blogger yet I would actually say I am currently leaning more towards confused amateur here so please excuse any shitty formats i throw together while I try find my exact style. As always I am open to suggestions and I will even appreciate any constructive criticism.

I have been playing around with Github so I expect my posts should look a lot better once I get the hang of that, but for now i'm roughing it.

Anyway let me get on with it. Today I went paintballing with a bunch of my mates at the Melkbosstrand field, Pyro paintball and it was sick!. I will be posting links to the places I visits at the bottom of every post (They don't pay me I just really want to support the local businesses in anyway possible) I also talk to most of these business owners about Steemit now. I was preaching like a Lord to my friends and family about the power of Steem and the price of the Steem Dollar going up backed me up today!

Once again I digress though....We go paintballing quite often lately. I don't know what it is about shooting your friends with paintball guns that makes us so happy, but we love it.

It was all good until I agreed to a 2v2 round with the other team having both the high velocity guns and then I eventually ended up pinned down and opened up on...fuckin savages haha.... In hind sight the outcome is so obvious but anyway it was all good fun and we ended off the day like champions!

Another good day... I feel content right now, I start my new job in the beginning of February where I will be in the middle of dealing with Cape Towns water crisis. I am super amped about that and my own business is on track for a good year too with our new products and contracts in place I feel more confident than ever about my potential in South Africa (Recently I have been doubting the econimcal situation of SA heavily.)

I also found Steemit and I feel super confident in this platform and my ability to contribute so with all that said, getting days like today where I can just forget about the future and what I should be doing is awesome...Even if I end up looking like I ran through a riot.

It's Saturday and my mind is churning with issues on the water Crisis in Cape Town right now so I'll be writing about that. Hoping we have a community of solutionists here?

Please follow me if you enjoy the content and I will definitely return the favor :)

Thank you,

JJ Rattey

Hey again... you DID get pretty roasted! Haha... ya, all the South Africans I met were doing the yachting thing to take back US dollars to SA. I got to learn a little bit about the economy down there and some of the politics and it sounds like a hard time to be going through! I hope your business does well though and that things turn around down there!

Hey @atravelers.life haha still a good time though, roasting and all. Yea a lot of my friends have chosen carreers outside of this country to be able to maintain a decent lifestyle and get ahead. I thought about the yachts for a while but I love business too much, are u working on the yachts still? If anything I would migrate to a better country like the UK or Australia where I could earn and travel easily. But for now I will keep on keeping on, and the political situation down here is actually looking quite hopeful right now believe it or not haha. Lets hope the economics improve. Thank you for the response appreciate the upvote!

I never actually got a full-time gig on a yacht but I had done tons of daywork on several different yachts and it was an awesome experience! I didn't want to remain in the states any longer so I found a job I could do remotely and moved to Mexico.
