Protection of the Oceans

in #blog5 days ago

Hey everyone, first of all I would like to welcome you all to my new contribution and hope you have a weekend which is full of interesting experiences! Today I would like to address an important topic that affects everyone and am happy if I can do some educational work.

The seas of the world have a very special meaning for the earth and offer a habitat for millions of different species of animals and how many live here can only be roughly estimated, but the fact is that most of all living things are at home here. While the earth is largely known, the depths of the sea are largely still unexplored and without the sea would life not be possible because a large part of the oxygen that every living being needs is produced here and also the oceans neutralise a large part of all substances produced by humans such as carbon dioxide. Large fluctuations in temperature are compensated by the seas and if the scenario should occur and the waters would shrink, this would have serious consequences for the whole of humanity and the entire food chain would collapse and the danger is quite real because the water level drops day by day, which also affects the earth's crust. In addition to the influence on the climate, the oceans are important to provide people with food and it's a long chain that exists here and if there are any problems, others are also in great danger at the same time and even when it comes to the transport routes, the seas are essential for the infrastructure and in addition, millions of jobs are created here with which people earn their living to feed their families.

How much our seas are endangered in reality is noticeable in many respects and it's especially frightening that every year tons of garbage lands there, a large part of which remains there permanently because only a small part can be recovered and properly recycled, the rest is stored at the bottom. Annual measurements confirm that there are fewer and fewer fish every year and in addition, the stocks have huge problems to recover and in order to address the general protection of the oceans, every human is asked to contribute to the goal to counteract these growing problems. Among the big problems why the seas suffer include, in addition to pollution in which industry often also plays a major role, false fishing such as overfishing and also the climate plays an enormous role and contributes to changes. The individual can contribute to protecting the seas by changing the lifestyle and in addition, more waters need special protection which are necessary because currently the reality is different and there are only about 10% of all areas under protection, some of which also suffer and must be credited again.

But is every fish species eatable or there are some we can’t eat?

Humans are ruining the sea, plastic, pollution, petroleum, nuclear waste, we are killing us while killing the sea, what would happen in a world without fishes?
