Just a few days after the water leak incident, another disaster strikes.
Mr. Grey's rear windscreen cracked in million pieces.
The questions in my head is what seems to be the cause of it.
Could it be some branches from the tree?
Well, Mr. Grey was parked not under a tree. There was no tree branch near Mr. Grey, and the impact would not be cracked in miliion pieces. Long time ago, i was witnessed a car windscreen was smashed by a tree branched and the windscreen had a hole rather than cracked like Mr. Grey's.
Could it be stones flew from the works of grass cutter?
There was no signs of grass cutting from the back area of Mr. Grey, and there was no evidence of stone smashing the windscreen.
The only possible reason of the cracked windscreen was from heat.
Well, nothing can be done that time, and i could only send to workshop for repair the next morning as i only discover about the incident in late evening.
As usual, i had consulted with @davidke20 and he gave me a contact for windscreen replacement centre.
The next morning, I had contacted the agent and unfortunately she did not have a ready stock. As i have to get the windscreen replaced by that day and I could not apply emergency leave for another day and she had another appointment on Saturday, i had to declined and search for another replacement centre.
As Mr. Grey was insured by Etiqa auto insurance, i quickly browse for Etiqa Auto Windsreen Specialist agent, and found out about Rampai Auto Care, which only a few kms from my MIL's house in Wangsa Maju.

Once arrived there, I was greeted by the staff and introduced with Stella, who's doing the documentation process. I was told that the windscreen replacement cost was Rm500, and since Mr. Grey only insured about RM400, i had to top-up another Rm100 in cash. Other that that, i need to give relevent documents such as IC, driving licence, car grant and insurance cover note. After done that, i gave the key to Stella, and since the repair work should take a long time, i have decided to walk back to my MIL's house and wait there until the repair works done.
After a few hours (about 5 hours after send for repairs), Mr. Grey was ready to be collected.
