A Game of Fortune
Source
I tried saving her but it really was her fortune.
I've been really obsessed with Japanese culture ever since Amaterasu lived. I'm really into Japs especially their paranormal games and in fact I'll be performing a less fatal game called Tsuji-ura or the Fortune Game.
My comb and handkerchief are well-prepared plus I've already planned where the ritual would take place, the crossroad near the South.
I started walking as the sun kissed the horizon goodbye. Darkness devoured every single thing in sight and that spiced up the ritual.
As I reach the crossroad, I took out the comb and run it over my teeth thrice.
"Tsuji-ura, Tsuji-ura, grant me a true response."
"Tsuji-ura, Tsuji-ura, grant me a true response."
"Tsuji-ura, Tsuji-ura, grant me a true response”
I hurriedly covered my face with the hanky as a stranger with an odd way of walking tried approaching me.
"P-please tell me my fortune. Please tell me my fortune" I asked
With a hoarse voice it replied. It shouted for it wasn't able to come near me.
"You'll dieeeeee---"
A great flash of light spread allover the crossroad as a gigantic machine hit my body and the stranger's identity was uncovered.
It was me.
