Yeah, I've been had by chicken soup before, not a fun experience at all. Makes you dubious of that food every time you see it from that point on. Mussels though, have you had them before? My sister had such a reaction from Oysters, but she'd shared it with her husband and he never got sick; They presume it was an allergic reaction.
