We always wanted the best for our money when buying our favorite devices. When buying I always wanted the best deal for me. Back then, when I was a student, I was into buying and selling smart phones. I was good at it, I manage to earn through it while also working as a student.
But now times have change, there are so many sellers that doesn't give you full details of what's wrong with the device, they also trying to convince that their device was rarely used. There's a 80% chance that the device you've bought had an issue before if you are going to buy a secondhand product. Upon breaking(when it's previous issue resurfaces), it will only cost more for repairs and parts replacement. Buying a secondhand device will only worsen the cost and productivity of the product that you've bought.
For example, yesterday, after dinner, I brought my broken SWITCH console to the shop where I bought it. My right analog stick is not responding very well, it even sometimes move towards down even if it's positioned on center. Brought my receipt along with my device, had a simple conversation of what's the issue with the shop, and immediately took my right control of the switch for parts replacement. The best part is I don't have to pay anything for it, the warranty covered it all.
Buying brand new can give you benefits of free replacement or repair when the device becomes unresponsive, while buying secondhand devices will only gives you more headache when it starts to be unresponsive.
It's my day off today and I already miss playing Legend of Zelda BotW. The shop clerk told me that it would take a week or two for my controller to get repaired.
