Verge just pull of an old trick from Ripple by using hype to give announcement. Everyone was expecting something big when they announce a partnership. It turns out to be the most useless partnership ever. They announce that they are partnering with PornHub(a website that streams sexual content).
Last year Ripple tried to hype an announcement with their countdown that rekt me. That in three days they will announce something big, turns out to be a conference.

I’m confused - you don’t think a crypto partnering with the biggest player in the adult industry is a big deal? The parent company they partnered with is a multibillion dollar operation with a huge global presence. And they already accept Verge as a payment method.
This partnership just made Verge a legitimate currency. It’s a great move forward for them and the crypto space as a whole.
