Making it count Day 3
This is a series of blog posts where I keep myself accountable to my goals and post wins / fails of the day.

Wins:

  • Singing lesson with a vocal coach. As i posted in my goal list I will upload an acoustic cover of one of my favorite songs by the end of the year. As I'm pretty bad at singing and new to playing the guitar I thought I will need to get some professional coaching to get the ball rolling...and so I did.
Diana, my vocal coach is super fun, engaging and a great singer.
I will try to attend the singing lesson twice a month and practice at home while also recording my progress from time to time.
This will be quite enlightening for the question "Can you learn to sing"
I am 100% ungifted when it comes to musical talent and voice, so I'm excited to see what's possible within a year.

  • Almost done with Gary Vee's new book "Crushing it". So many insights and practical tips for a new business person like me.
Going to treat this as one of my 2018 bibles and reread important chapters often.

  • First day back at uni. Got some books, spent most of my time in the library finishing workout schedules for clients, emailing them and reading books.
Only thing I got done for uni was collecting material for the big upcoming exam, ordered necessary books and outlined a study plan.
Going to bump up my studying time from almost 0 to 30-40hrs next week, otherwise I will lack behind from the get go.

  • Made plans to visit Hamburg and Berlin this month. As I put "visiting 3 cities" on my 2018 goal list some days ago I realized that I have an amazing opportunity right now: Plenty of my friends are studying abroad in amazing places.
Why not visit them, take a couple days off and have a great time in a new city.
In this March trip I will visit one friend in Hamburg (beloved roomy from vienna) and one in Berlin (old school friend and fellow free spirit that has a lot going for him).
If I pass the exam end of April I will go visit a friend from Vienna who is currently doing his semester abroad in Paris.

Since no flight is booked yet, I will keep you updated and I hope to make all 3 trips possible :)

Fails:
No significant ones today.
Super productive, positive and overall a great start to the weekend.
Also cut back on coffee and was able to survive on one cup vs the regular 2-3 :)
EEEEEXXXXXCITED...VAMOS!

That's it for the day.
Until tomorrow
