No doubt about it, acne can be painful, both physically and emotionally. The thing about acne is, it can strike at anytime, no matter what the persons age, race, or gender.
In fact, children as young as six or seven have been spotted with tiny little breakouts and there are men and women in their mid forties still experiencing the drama that goes along with struggling to have clear skin.
For most, it seems like no matter what they do, they can never have the perfect skin that they truly want. They often look at magazine covers and the TVs., and see what perfectly healthy clear skin all the models and actors have.
But in fact most of that is simply excellent makeup work and airbrushing to give look that they want. Let’s face it we are all human and we all at some point in our lives we all have to deal with acne.
Tackling The Problem
The sad fact is that no matter how hard you try, it is near impossible to completely fix or resolve an acne problem to the point of it never coming back. While there are some pretty heavy medications that can be received through a skin care specialist, these acne medications are generally reserved only for those people who are suffering from some of the worst cases.
These medications are strong and come with potentially harmful side effects so they will not just give it to every person that says that hate having pimples.
Dodging the acme bullet
If you are not one of the unlucky people who suffer from extreme acne problems, then your best bet is to look for an over the counter product that works well for you and keep up on treatment. Make sure that you follow the instruction on the product and wash and dry your face properly.
Also, try keeping your hands away from your face, as the dirt and excess oil that is placed on the face when you touch it will cause more acne.
Another thing, stop stressing about your pimples because studies have shown that stress is a major reason why some people get acne. To battle this drink plenty of water, eat healthy foods and before you know it, you will begin to see a lot of changes in your skin.
