I am doing the same as you, taking some of LTC or BTC and purchasing steem to power up every few days while the price is still down... I am still a minnow and have been struggling to get solid post payouts, but if I can accumulate that SP then I can benefit myself, as well as others in the long haul!! SP for that long term commitment into steemit !!
