Corfu Part 2 - Visiting Paleokastritsa
Hello again, Steemians! In the last travel blog, I wrote about the road to Corfu and the first day there. Now it's time to reach even higher peaks.
We've spent our second day on Corfu visiting Paleokastritsa. Paleokastritsa is an awesome northern village with an astonishing bay. The most impressive thing about its bay is the fact that you can find gigantic rocks in the middle of the water and you can climb them.
You can have an awesome view from up there. We can call them rock islands.
The beach we stayed for the hours we spent there was a really beautiful one with fine sand, crystal clear water and not so crowded.
After the hours spent at Paleokastritsa, we've returned to our beach in Agios Gordios as the sun was setting down. We had a big surprise to notice that our beach was almost empty. We had the sand and the water just for us. And the weather was perfect.
The sunset was one of the most beautiful we've seen there.
It was an awesome feeling to be alone on a floaty and hear just the waves splashing under yourself. I could have stayed there for ages.
We've have finished the day by going to a nearby restaurant and eating some crazy good local food.
Unfortunately, we've come to an end for the today blog. But don't worry. The next episode is coming tomorrow with more fun and beautiful landscapes.
Thank you for reading!
Peace,
