New EP Viewing / Listening Party Recap

A Successful Endevour!!

We're very happy that our Viewing/Listening event went off without a hitch this past Friday the 24th. Well, that's if you discount the cocktail mix spilling when we arrived at our friend Rob Cleveland's studio (http://www.rightanglerecording.com) in Long Island City, NY. Also, the fact that we forgot to test the audio visual connections until minutes before we screened, lol. ASIDE FROM THAT, it was a complete and utter success and we couldn't be more grateful to everyone who showed up and those people who made it all possible.

A lot of these images were either taken with our phones or downloaded from Instagram stories posted by the attendees.

And here is Rob's wife Kristen making sure that Chris doesn't get too close to the speakers lol She was also a big reason everything went so smoothly and we love her.

Below is Jairo Taveras, our mixologist for the night. He put together an awesome cocktail with ingredients selected by Katya's good friend Amanda De La Nuez (who wasn't able to attend, but we are super grateful with her and her boyfriend Jake for providing us with a big part of the liquor that was used). His boozy concoction was very popular with the guests. Btw, the ingredient list is below so you can go ahead and make it at home if you'd like. Oh yeah, did we mention that we were in Queens, NY and totally surrounded by great Colombian food restaurants? So of course, we had to get some empanadas from Mama's Empanadas to serve our guests. They were a HIT!

One last element we knew we wanted to have for our special night was the sale of our new t-shirts. These cozy, cotton and comforting items of merchandise were made by our friend Henry Garcia over at https://k-mi-z.com/ and they too were a hit. Especially the ones with the faces on them. We have some leftover and will have them for sale on our website starting tomorrow. Oh What a Night

Friday night was great and we can't express the joy we felt that a lot of our closest friends and some people that we truly admire were there to celebrate with us the culmination of months of hard work on our behalf and the behalf of the people who helped us in the recording of the EP (Trevor Exter, Ricky "Strings" Ramos) and all the directors/filmmakers of the music videos (Sean O'Neil, Hakim Kabbaj, Suzane Vogel, Hudson Flynn).
Seeing their faces and hearing the reactions they had to our work was incredibly enlightening and motivating. We can't wait to go out and represent this body of work and push forward to put out more quality content for all our followers. We love you!

Tomorrow (August 27) is the big day! Pause Rewind will be out and available to download/stream on all digital platforms. It will be up on Dsound as well, just not sure how soon that will be as we have faced some challenges successfully uploading our music in the past. But it will be done.
