I know it's been a while, but as they say,life happens and you deal with it. Since then, I've moved the family to Oklahoma and working at a speed shop in my spare time. As far as the GTO goes,well, I still have it.
It didn't sell or trade so I guess it's time to fix it. To be fare, my wife isn't a fan of getting rid of it (for good reason). I do have an opportunity to build a 479ci LSX engine with a healthy shot of nitrous for the GTO. I'll need to pull the current engine and transmission combo out for some overdue repairs first.
It all works out, since my tow pig could use a new heart and my LS3 would be a perfect option.
For the mean time, the GTO resides in my trailer trunkless. I loaned out the lid to be used for R&D of a carbon liber lid replacement. Chris Nichols of CNR is looking to develop some parts on his perosnal racecar.
