Pascual Reyes Flores and milled as a single farm micro-lot at RAOS (Cooperativa Regional de Agricultores Orgánicos de la Sierra) where Pascual is a member. Pascual and his family have owned a five acre farm called El Guachipilin since 1982. The farm is located in the municipality of Cabañas within the department of La Paz, Honduras. During the months of harvesting, Pascual employs more than 20 people from the community to help him and his family with the coffee harvest. Crop diversification is important for Pascual who also cultivates corn and beans. Pascual has been selling his coffee as a conventional commodity but over the last few years he has made improvements in processing. Ivan Vasquez, Q grader and quality manager at RAOS, recognized these improvements, reflected in the cup quality, and offered this special micro-lot directly to Royal Coffee.
