Everyone kind of hates were they grew up and you are right about needing to leave to recognize the beauty. I just can't believe that you put up with the traffic as long as you did! LA traffic is the worst!!!!
But that breathing exercise seems like it was pretty cool and if it made you consider moving back, then maybe it is a good idea.

It wasn't just the breathing exercise, it was really the whole trip. Abbot Kinney, Venice, my friends, the Malibu experience... and I wouldn't say I'd move back for good. But maybe for a few months. We'll see.
