Another livelihood project had been implemented for this year. The Barangay Calsadahay Bayanihan Farmers Association is the beneficiary of the our Local Government Unit of Burauen in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) thru DOLE Kabuhayan Program which focuses the on Agrivet Supply .The association will engage in micro business enterprise to address some of the needs of its members. They are responsible for all the business operations from procurement to marketing.

Our office will just facilitate the project. I will do the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E). To consider all the stages of implementing a livelihood project from organizing, to social preparations stage , project proposal making , to training, to procurement (philippine government procurement process) until implemented (turn-over) to Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E). The last stage is the most important. This will determine the sustainability of the project and the will of the members to make their livelihood grow.

Us, the funding agency of the project wishes for the success of this. As we know that this will help the community’s development grow faster. Economic activity will be observed. This livelihood (Agrivet supply) will generate additional income to the members.

The proponent had counter parted the storage or the store of the project. This scheme will give the association the sense of ownership thus resulting to the sustainability of the project. This strategy has been effective in our place. The camaraderie of the members and unity build up and stick together through this.
