I have often wondered why HR managers are usually so strict that you have to have a lion heart to liase with them. Sometimes they are percieved as wicked for they put in strict organizational policies that are considered unfriendly to the employee. Of course, I understand the concept of change management where the manager needs to unfreeze in order to put things on the right track but I still feel there are better ways to do it.
From my little HR management knowledge, I know that the HR managers should be the mouthpiece of the employee to the top management. The one who should have the best relationship with the employees; to assess the effect of the organisational policies on the employee and hence remodify if need be.
HR managers are meant to be more of leaders rather than Bosses.
HR is the centre that binds other systems within the organisation together and when the centre cannot hold, things will definitely fall apart.
Every organisation needs an efficient HR management for an effective work force.
