Due to the high congestion of the Ethereum network, BlockTrades has temporarily disabled sales of Ether until we are able to successfully get our transactions included into the Ethereum blockchain. We have a few Eth transactions that failed to get included last night, and we will re-process those as soon as we are able.

Guys i don't see any congestion. Some exchanges are ok doing withdrawals and others are not. Although i'm still very bullish on ETH something is on for sure.

Ether network is so much congested these days that the transactions have become similar to BTC !

LTC doesn't congest because no one is using it. Just a test platform for BTC. That's why its called lite :P
I use it :)
It was added to two major exchanges last week.
Yours.org has launched using LTC instead of BTC like the original plan.
PPL are trying to get amazon to accept LTC and BTC
Should be added to more exchanges in ASIA soon...

Any estimated time?
I don't have an estimated time, as it will depend on how/when the ethereum team and/or network settles the problem. I guess even if nothing is done the network traffic will settle in a bit.
High congestion on the Ethereum network? I thought that was a Bitcoin thing...
@blocktrades are you aware of blockchain surveillance and does it in anyway cause congestion of the network. Thanks for the update. What steps are being taken if any to deal with the issue of blockchain surveillance by certain entities, are there any plans on drafting policies to deal with the issue, how transparent would the process be? Once again thank you for the update and continue to excellent job you guys are doing..

There's nothing to do right now, as we can't sent eth right now. We will reprocess any eth outputs we have as soon as we believe we are able to do so.

Hashflare also stopped ETH transactions until further notice due to congestion.
Whereas once we all really liked the transaction with blocktrades. But for some reason we have to use transactions using poloniex.
I believe poloniex is also having problems with ether transactions, but I could be wrong.
Yes some days it does look poloniex also has a problem, I also do not know whether this from the new system or indeed there are other problems of the transaction.
I hope the blocktrades and ploniex will return smoothly as before.
The problem right now is with Ethereum network itself. Hopefully it will get resolved soon.

Hi, Looks like you only put the btc address in the memo. You needed a memo like "btc:my_bitcoin_address" where my_bitcoin_address is the address to send to. I'll manually reprocess it now.

About 5 hours ago make a transaction of in blocktrades, convert 25 steem dollars to bitcoins, send them from my account steemit and my wallet in @blocktrades I do not generate the ID of the transaction, and minutes ago do another to confirm if you are really presenting Problems the network and the transaction if it was made effective.
Now my question is ¿what happened to my 25 steem dollars that I converted to bitcoin? And steemit I debit them and now that I do? I'm very worried it's an important amount

Looks like you made a typo in your memo (capital A649 instead of a649). It's probably better to copy/paste the memos instead of manually retyping them, it's easy to make a mistake otherwise. I'll manually process your order.

Our memos don't have capital letters, so maybe some software running on your browser capitalized it. In any event, I manually processed your transaction, so BTC is on it's way.

Hi Gina, the amount was too small to pay the bitcoin transaction at the time you sent it. I'll refund the Steem, but I strongly recommend sending larger values in the range of 20 Steem or so to avoid losing a lot on the exchange rate due to fixed cost fees to send bitcoin.
Hiya, sorry I'm not doing very well at this section, I haven't managed to even treat myself yet, let alone pay for my moving van argh! Let's hope I work it out by my moving date on the 3rd July. As you can gather technology and I do not alway's see eye to eye! Or my brain for that matter!
