Trade BTC for STEEM - My First "Blocktrades" Experience & Tutorial

First step, click on the Menu and select Wallet.

Now your on Wallet Page, Click on the "BUY STEEM OR STEEM POWER"

BLOCKTRADES site will open and your account name on the address field already. You can also signup on blocktrades.us so you can directly login there.

Click on the drop down menu on the "SEND" field then select Bitcoin,

On the "RECEIVE" side STEEM is automatically selected, note that you can also trade for STEEM DOLLAR, STEEM POWER and *STEEM POWER DELEGATION for 90 days, but for now let's go with STEEM.

Next open your Bitcoin Wallet, I use Coins.ph on this one. (If you don't have BTC Wallet, click on the link and you'll be redirected to registration page.)

Click on the "BTC" on the Wallet Section

Click on "SEND" then a small window will open

Now go back to BLOCKTRADES and click on "Get Deposit address"

A Bitcoin Address will be generated, it is where you will send the BTC you want to trade. You can now enter the amount in BTC(On my transaction I tried 0.0014 BTC equivalent to 4.649 STEEM). Copy the BTC Address and paste to Coins.ph. (Take note that price might change in a split second)

Enter the amount in BTC(0.0014 for my transaction). You can also see the equivalent amount in Php.

On the box below, just enter the purpose. There's fee on the transaction, you can choose whether Low, Medium & High

Then Continue. Click on the small box, to confirm that you understand the terms.

Once you're done, just wait for it to confirm.

Once confirmed you can check on your account.

You can also check on steemd(below was the account of @blocktrades which shows that the transaction was successful).

As you can see @blocktrades is here in STEEMIT, You can even follow him to see some updates.
