An interesting debate on (Indian) TV had me thinking. It was a debate based off an article on a US publication which basically announced that China may be trying to weaponize blockchains!
Weaponizing, a word which suggests guns and bombs, has been used loosely here as the real weapons seems to be political. This combined with the fact that nothing seems to be going China's way these days.
But what I found interesting was the fact that everyone seems to agree that all central governments are scared to loose control over their populations, and that blockchains are here to stay. In fact one of the panelists even went on to say that these will be the future.
And another was the role of communities in the blockchain space and how communities can be infiltrated with malicious intent.
