Ripple is one of the best digital currencies out there. I did not label it as a "cryptocurrency" because I, myself, do not believe it to be one. However, with its fast transaction speeds and bank partners, it really does have a bright future.

P.S. No matter how much haters are gonna deny it, we still need banks.
