RE: What is happening to Lisk? - Lisk on GitHub - Programmer explains

in #blockchain7 years ago

Hi Ivan, This is going to seem silly but I accidentally sent you some EOS that I purchased today. It was meant to go to my address but I had it copied. I know the exact amount that I sent. Is there anything you can do to help me out with this?

hm sounds scammy

It's not scammy. I can show you the outgoing I sent from liqui..my husband also messaged you in slack. I'm still fairly new to this and I messed up last night
Here is my liqui transaction

My ether address: 0x93241567d4BcBAbe5f77a8C5274263e54291e1a8

Unfortunately that ETH account is a Coinbase account and I have no access to the private keys, meaning there is no way for med to access the EOS associated with that account. Please be super careful when transacting.

The reason why I say it is scammy is because it is a popular scam in Sweden, people steal your ID, take a loan in your name, call you and say that they "accidently" transfered a lot of funds to your account, you transfer the funds to them, next day you get a letter from the bank telling you that you have a loan to pay ;)
