A 2019 report from the leading job search portal Hired says the demand for software engineers with blockchain development skills grew by over 517% in 2018 and the trend continues to shoot up. In the parallel freelance universe, Upwork rated blockchain as the second-highest “in-demand” skill. 2 in 3 of total software engineering jobs listed blockchain as a required skill.
