How can we stay away from a scam projects? we have to analyze the project carefully. As I am new I should not invest a huge sum of money into any project. Spend some time to learn the basics of this technology. Learn what is the future of this technology. Let give time to comfortable with the projects and the technology.

They have their own agenda to promote certain projects. Always try to stay away from a project which does not have any whitepaper or does not have a successful team.

What do I mean by a successful team?

A successful team should include a number of industry experts. They should have long industry experiences. A team of an absolute newbie cannot build the greatest projects. Look at their LinkedIn profile, Facebook, and other social profile, Look at their educational qualification. Everyone is not Mark Zuckerburg. So, Keep your eye on the team members.

Whitepaper

A whitepaper contain information about the projects. If you are interested about that particular project. Read carefully at the detailed mentioned in the whitepaper. Even if you are not an experts, You will get some insights from this whitepaper.

Websites

Look at the project's website. Find out the details about the project. You will get all the information related to projects. There will be a link to the whitepaper. Carefully look at the project timeline or roadmap. Analyze how the team will move forward in future with this projects.

Social Media Presence

I found that all the great projects have a tremendous social media presence. But be careful about the social media. A few months back, I found a story related to wanchain Twitter account. One point of time, Wanchain Fake twitter account has more follower than the original one. Fortunately, Wanchain Team and the followers have found out the fake one and took action. Always check the social profile.
