In a press release sony explains how this blockchain will manage e-books, music, educational content, films, and other written content. Sony told the press that this blockchain will collect and make a catalog of publishing dates and dates of creation of the content.

By looking into the future sony says may be they add data management distribution tracking to this blockchain.
