Hey hey, guys, I know that many of my readers are developers or people who want to launch own blockchain-based project.
If you are going to create a new coin, there is no choice except creating your own blockchain, mostly this is only developers field.
But if you have a token, here opens a big field of possibilities. There are many blockchains with their advantages and disadvantages. You are able to set your project at:
- EDC Blockchain |EDC|
- Ethereum |ETH|
- EOS |EOS|
- Komodo |KMD|
- Cubechain |QUB|
- Waves |WAVES|
- Stellar |XLM|
- Cardano |ADA|
- and many others;
Most of you sure know EOS, Ethereum and Stellar as the most popular. Choosing between them you need to carefully review pros and cons and choosing the best.
Let`s speak about these free as they are on the hype wave.
Ethereum.
No need words, you know and definitely had ever used it. The first platform which introduced smart contracts in the blockchain to the world. The main face of the project is Vitaliy Buterin, famous 24 years old programmer.
Pros:
- User-friendly, many guides
- Home of many other projects
Cons:
- Home of many other projects (zero personality)
- Main net lags
- High fee
EOS
Open source C++ based platform was created and announced as Ethereum killer. Brendan Blumer - American entrepreneur is a CEO of it.
Pros:
- ???????
Cons:
- Angry to all newbs
- Pay for the wallet
- Very small community
Stellar
Firstly in 2014, it was like a Ripple hard fork and worked on its protocol. Stellar smart contracts (SSC) are much different from Ethereum smart contracts. They are not Turing complete and are implemented as an agreement between multiple parties and enforced by transactions. Below you see a comparison between Stellar and Ethereum. Notice the huge difference in cost and confirmation time.
Pros:
- Fast and cheap transactions.
Cons:
- Small community
- User unfriendly
- Need to activate each token manually
Not very good.
Above these many blockchains, there is one which I rate very high. It is EDC Blockchain.
First of all, EDC is super user-friendly blockchain, literally everyone, even without any programming skills can create own asset there. Check by yourself - https://wallet.blockchain.mn/asset_constructor!
Also, around the net, you can find lots of articles about EDC, so the community is really huge and the number of people engaged only grows.
The most important thing in the blockchain is transactions, its speed and yeah, EDC Blockchain has perfect timing. For me it took 5 seconds to send coins from my wallet to the exchange with really low fee, it even lower than 1 EDC (1 EDC = 40 sats.) so it is even free.
As about creating your token. Three plans:
- Basic - 1000 EDC. It is like a trial version with a symbol and description.
- Plus - 10 000 EDC. Basic functions + max supply and premine
- Premium 500 000 EDC. Lots of functions like a daily bonus, mining, mandatory transfer, and many others.
Just imagine, only for 1950$, you are able to create your own digital asset without any bits of knowledge and without third party workers. Easy and reasonably.
Obviously, EDC Blockchain (https://blockchain.mn/) is the best platform for launching a new project. I will personally help you, in case you set up your ICO there. ;)

mate blink twice if you are being held hostage

;)
well may be EDC is good as a host but sure you can find better place. they dont have media
Komodo, EOS or Ethereum much better imo
Guys, everything is up to you, here is my opinion, you could have another.
EOS is very weak as I said. Komodo is good, okay.
