Hi, Bryan,
I just came across you today on Steemit (via your Hemingway article).
From there, I found (and read in its entirety) your intro post... tried to respond to it, but comments are frozen.
Thanks for your extensive bio... I found a lot to identify with in it! ;)
I, unfortunately, never got past the "poor student" phase, but my life has been interesting nonetheless...
I'll be following you, I've requested a subscription to your BlockChain newsletter, and I wish I could buy you a beer or take you out to lunch today! Maybe next time I pass through AZ... ;)
Kindest regards,
-creatr
Awesome, thanks @creatr and thanks for subscribing! I'm now following you also :)
This is a great idea and thanks for sharing. I'm happy to upvote and share this on Twitter✔ for my followers to read and see. Following and looking forward to reading more of your posts. Cheers. Stephen
Thanks @stephenkendal, especailly for sharing on Twitter!
Please consider publishing your newsletter on SteemIt.
Hi @arnebolen - thanks. I'm not sure what I'll do on that score yet since if I do then maybe no one on SteemIt will sign up for the newsletter and I still think "person to person" email is an important communication mechanism. Still thinking about it and thanks for the suggestion!
The term "blockchain technology" is almost as much as a buzzword-bullshit indicator as using the word "blockchain" in singular form without an "a" or "the" article.
Better use "Blockchain protocol" or similar.
Just because other people abuse the term doesn't mean it's not valid. I've been giving highly technical talks on Blockchain technology for over a year - it's a totally valid term if you actually discuss blockchain technology.
