Uses of personal data
Most data out there is false and destroys a business directly or indirectly through their loss of sales and outright loss of competition, the data market today is monopolized and there is the need for the revolution. To be able to compete in the global market, a company must have as much as possible access to their prospective customers to ascertain their needs. Most companies find this hard to achieve due to the high cost of data in the data market and non-beneficial state of the data they have purchased. This alone makes only the big industries strive while the new ones die a slow death due to lack of customer base.
Opiria is revolutionizing this by making data not only high quality but also affordable as well. Small companies and new start-ups can get all the data they need from the Opiria platform and the good part of it all is that this data is direct from customers as the Opiria platform is removing middlemen and making sure that these data are well filtered and providers well incentivized to cut the scenario of provision of fake data as prominent today due to lack of incentivization.
Why the need for Opiria platform?
At a time when not much regard and value is given to personal data, there is the need for a change. When things are not done the right way, a change is always imminent and this is what the Opiria platform is here to do. The platform is here to make sure the protection and right use of personal data are achieved. Personal data most times are gotten indirectly without the user's knowledge and what happens with the data is beyond the owner's control. With the GDPR regulations and Opiria being GDPR compliant, all these ills done to personal data will be a thing of the past.
Why protect personal data?
I know a lot of persons out there may be wondering what is the fuse as regards personal data which cropped up of recent is really all about? Now I will try to give some key facts about why personal data is the most valuable asset that needs protection.
The total existence of a man is his personal data, personal data not only means our names, age, residential address, it encompasses all this. It includes both our shopping preferences down to our likes and dislikes what makes us mood swing and what appeals to us. Once all this is in the wrong hands, a man is finished as his records can be leaked everywhere and he will automatically be vulnerable to some major attacks from his enemies. Especially when it deals with our health-related records and some other sensitive information. Personal data is the undoing of anyone and as regards this, it needs the maximum and utmost protection against wrong uses. Opria is right on time to make this happen.

@mianae Most if not all of these social media companies misuse our data.In April I was surprised to find that facebook keeps thousands of my data, chats, uploads, comments and likes even some of 2009 when I firstly joined.
Yes that is because they are centralized bodies who feed on the data of individuals who sign up to their platform. But with the Opiria platform, we will be able to have a say to who keeps our data and for what purpose it serves.
It's good that platforms like opira exist, since she guarantees us that she will protect our personal data, since today there are many people who like to steal the identities of other people to do bad things and leave vulnerable to attacks from your enemies and can use your personal data, THANKS FOR PUBLISHING THIS TYPE OF PLATFORMS THAT PROTECT OUR DATA FROM OUR ENEMIES OR OTHER PEOPLE.
The theft of personal data is a worrisome situation and I as well am glad that projects like Opiria is here to help the common man protect his privacy.
@mianae some of company misused our personal data like emails phone then sent spam which is the ugliest think about these companies.
It is quite painful but I think with the GDPR, we will see some changes and at least stay spam free.
Is true we keep hearing the eed for the protection of our personal data, and how Opiria will achieve that. But i have a concern which is: For example now, we allow a given company access to our data, how do we monitor what they do with the data and know that such companies are not in return trading our data for their own gains as is seen today?
Data protection and regulation, is presently being checked by GDPR and if you be a company, that deals with an EU citizens, you must not violate the citizens data and failure to comply with the regulations, leaves a company to face the charges as stipulated by GDPR.
Opiria project is right on time people everyday lose their personality due to one data leak or hack or the other. The centralized data system has made many medical records get in the wrong hands due to server breach of the companies and some other careless actions. This is overwhelming on its own.
