Earning #MetaHash #MHC

This is my 4th article about #MetaHash. This project is cool and that's why I wanted to write more about them. In this article, our topic is how to earn #MHC, or #MetaHashCoin, the native #MetaHash blockchain coins. If you want to read other articles about #MetaHash, you can find from my blog post. So, let's talk about earning #MHC.

# Forging != Mining

In #MetaHash, you can earn #MHC by participating in the forging process. Before we go further, forging is not essentially the same as mining in PoW, even though they serve the same purpose. Forging in #MetaHash has a lot of participants, theoretically, every nodes/ wallet in #MetaHash blockchain can participate in this forging process, and that is why even the owner of #MetaHash wallet can get the commision from forging process.

According to #MetaHash forging FAQS, forging is a process of forming #MetaHash block/commit together, using multi-vote PoS where every participant can vote for each transaction at the same time. Rewards for participating in the forging process comes from forging pool and transactions commission. If you know how Bitcoin rewards the miners when they find a new block, then I don't think you're having a hard time to understand this.

However, if that is still too abstract for you, we can simplify it like this: forging is a process where everybody in the network verifies each transaction and gets a payment for it, that comes from a special pool hoarding #MHC coins and commissions from the transactions. Payment calculation will take place every 6 hours.

# Earning through Forging

The distribution of forging shares are like this:

- 50% for the owner of #MetaHashCoins

If you own #MHC, you can entrust your voting rights to any nodes including your own nodes. By doing this activity, you'll gain a share from the forging process. Theoretically, the larger amount of #MHC that you have, you'll gain a lot more.

- 40% for the owner of the network server

Network servers or nodes are important in the #MetaHash ecosystem. They're protecting and running the whole ecosystems that make #MetaHash can process up to 50,000 transactions per seconds and keep it secure. You can start your own node with just 100 #MHC (MetaApps/Proxy/Wallet node), but of course, you'll gain a higher share if you run a high-level node such as Blockchain node.

- 10% for the owner of active wallets

You can also gain a share from the forging process just by owning an active wallet. This is such a simple process, you don't have to do anything at all, as long as you have active wallets with a minimum 1 #MHC in it.

# Bottom Line

The emission rate of #MHC

I personally think that earning #MHC is quite easy and simple. You can start earning just by being a member of the ecosystem. No technical knowledge is required, but of course, running a node will gain you a higher share which is a right thing to do so. Earning from the first year when #MetaHash network running will make you gain a lot more because the rate of emission will decrease every year. Because of this, don't lose the opportunity to participate in #MetaHash as soon as possible.
