Hello people, in this article, I will be shedding more light on HeartBit, you can read up my introductory article on this project here to get abreast of what the project is all about, but in case you have no time to go through that, don't worri, read on...I believe you will get the full gist in this article.
This article will mainly highlight the essential features of HeartBit device in a summarized manner and also contrast it with other fitness wearable products available in the market today that are also used in monitoring heart conditions.
Brief Overview of HeartBit
HeartBit is simply a device that can be used to monitor ECG (Electrocardiogram) signals during any physical activity that an individual normal engage in, these activity could be during sleeping, resting, exercising, recovery from illness, etc.
As you can see from the above, HeartBit can be incorporated into everyday life of virtually every individual in order to have accurate analysis of their heart condition which will not only minimize the cost of visiting medical centers to be running these check ups but will also help in maintaining good and healthy heart condition thereby preventing Cardiovascular Disease(s) (CVD).
According to wikipedia, Cardiovascular Disease is a class of diseases that involve the heart or blood vessels. Example of such disease are heart attack, stroke, heart failure, hypertensive heart disease, rheumatic heart disease, heart arrhythmia, etc.
Report has shown that some of these CVDs mentioned above are the number one cause of most deaths globally, Killing 17.7 million people yearly. With this horrific tragedy in mind, HeartBit was invented to help reduce the death rates caused by heart related diseases by offering a device which could help people to run ECG tests anytime and any where without going to a hospital, also with HeartBit device, people will tend to understand their body very well whenever it is undergoing any physical activity such as during exercises thereby helping people to know the best workout plan and routines that suit their body system.

HeartBit uses the combination of hardware and software solution to separate noise interference gotten from the environments, the muscles with the valuable inputs gotten from the heart, this feature makes HeartBit's data signal more accurate and reliable than most other wearable devices available.
HeartBit also has a progress tracking feature that can be used mostly for workouts, this can help athletes or individuals to know when they are reaching their targeted fitness goals while keeping their cardiac safety in check at all times.
