Why does steem have a low market cap and volume (by 24 hours) compared to other tokens based on blockchain, like Ripple, NEO, etc.?

According to coinmarketcap.com, steem ranked only 24th by market cap, above include Ripple, litecoin, LEM, Dash. And if we rank by volume, it is even lower.
I am really curious, considering that Steem is a mature application, it is ranked even below litecoin, which in my opinion is just nothing. Do you guys know why?
