Not too long ago, Oyster Protocol team released beta version of robust data storage main-net. The main idea is that with the guarantee of Ethereum based blockchain contract token (Oyster Pearl) by triggering IOTA Tangle nodes to retain desired data. This is the first and unique innovation where Ethereum smart contracts (node negotiation) and IOTA Tangle (data retention) which is called "Dual Ledger Integration".
Now, I would like to show you step by step how the data storage or transfer works.
1) Go to Website
2) Data Storage
Click Upload a File
Select a file from your local storage to upload.
Disclaimer: No PRL is required to use the beta Mainnet. This is a beta phase and should not be used for important data. Uploads cost 1 PRL per 64GB per year (paid for by Oyster).
3) Data Upload Status
Copy your "Oyster Handle" to retrieve or share your data.
4) Retrieving Data
Click "Retrieve a File" from homepage (Right-hand side option)
Enter your "Oyster Handle" and click "Retrieve File" button.
Finally, see your stored data downloaded to your local storage.
To sum up, Oyster Protocol team works restlessly to create an amazing solutions by applying dual ledger integration by harmonizing smart contracts and IOTA Tangle nodes.
