There is SPK network built with cooperation with Hive blockchain using IPFS and token based incentive storage mechanism. This will create a tool for decentralized storage of video and audio without actual storing huge amounts of data directly on the blockchain.
However text storage on a blockchain is already a huge thing IMO.

There used to be a similar blockchain concept called imagechain, where only small parts of images were linked with each other and put on the block. This method doesn't provide full immutability, data can still be corrupted, but it does prevent any altering.
